A traffic awareness park, established under the Smart City project of the Municipal Corporation, is located in Molakoundampalayam.

This park features informative boards that raise awareness about road safety. Additionally, there are boards explaining traffic rules, roadside symbols, and the process of applying for a driving license, making it easy for the public to understand.

This park, which had been neglected for the past few years, has now been renovated by the Olirum Erode Foundation. Subsequently, the Mayor of Erode, Nagarathinam, inaugurated the park. Erode MP K. S. Prakash, District Superintendent of Police, Municipal Commissioner Manish, Chief Engineer Vijayakumar, Corporation Councilor Sakthivel, SKM Pure Oil Managing Director Chandrasekhar, and several officials from the Olirum Erode Foundation participated in the event. Earlier, Chinnasamy, the President of the Olirum Erode Foundation, delivered the welcome address.
